Debunk Propaganda 4/3/14

Find a Propaganda Image of Stalin or the S.U. under Stalin.

1. Look for symbols to help you understand the image and explain the meaning.

2. What event / or overall message is illustrate in the image.

3. Now, debunk the image and find evidence to disprove the image. Include your source.

Changes during the Industrial Revolution / Changes today

A. Life changed suddenly and several problems arose between 1700 and 1850. You as a group need pick two problems created by the Industrial Revolution. Once, the problems have been established can your group provide solutions.

Rubric: A.
1. Find common problems / refer to handout
2. Create a blog, Slide Show, or Site to depict your findings. (Post Blog, Slide Show, Site) Your form of presentation must contain:
   a. Visual image for each problem
   b. One-two charts and or graphs, quotes to illustrate problem
   c. A short summary describing the change
   d. Post your blog link as post to this blog.

Part B.
3. Find other countries (not America) where both problems still exist
4. Find a visual, and either quote, a graph, chart, to illustrate the problem
5. Provide a summary to describe the problem

Part C.
6. As a group you will present 1 of your and current event problems. Everyone needs to participate for points. Example: 1 person can present the problem (explain), 1 person can present the image (explain), 1 person present the chart (explain), 1 person present the summary (explain)
